LKC Constructions Inc delivers three core types of project work: Custom Millwork, Metal Work, and Stone Work. Millwork is our primary specialty. Each service can stand on its own or form part of a coordinated interior package for commercial and residential spaces. We handle the agreed work through design development, technical coordination, specialist fabrication, project management, and installation as required by the contract.
Our clients sign directly with LKC. We engage and manage the subcontractors needed for the specific scope instead of presenting ourselves as the owner of a workshop or factory. The result is a single contracting relationship for the LKC package and a delivery process organized around the installed work.
Custom millwork is the central service around which LKC’s project expertise is built. We manage purpose-built architectural woodwork and related interior components from design requirements and buildable details to specialist production and installation. No two spaces have the same dimensions, finishes, or practical needs. Our role is to make those requirements part of the execution plan, whether the project is a retail space, restaurant, office, display, remodel, or residential interior.
A millwork project can begin as a concept, an established design, or a set of approved drawings. LKC identifies the work needed to reach fabrication, oversees the specialist resources producing the components, and manages the steps that bring them into the intended space. The exact elements and materials are confirmed through the project’s scope; we do not assume every type of cabinetry, fixture, or architectural feature is included without review.
Metal work brings its own fabrication methods, finish requirements, tolerances, and installation details. It may be a defined stand-alone package or form part of a larger project in which metal meets millwork, stone, or surrounding construction. LKC reviews the approved design intent, coordinates the relevant technical information, manages specialist metal fabrication, and plans delivery and installation within the agreed scope.
Metal details should be understood as part of the finished interior, not just separate items ordered from a shop. Connections, visible finishes, adjacent materials, and site conditions can change how a component is designed or installed. Our approach is to define those requirements early and manage them through completion.
Stone is highly dependent on accurate dimensions, approved materials, fabrication details, and careful handling. LKC delivers contracted stone work with the help of appropriate specialist subcontractors. We address coordination between the stone design, production requirements, delivery, installation, and the other elements around it.
When millwork and stone are part of the same scope, their interfaces require particular attention. Measurements, support details, finish transitions, and the installation sequence should be considered before separate components arrive on site. The stone type, finish, and application are always defined by the actual project rather than assumed from a generic catalog.
These are distinct services offered by LKC, but they are supporting disciplines, not competing core product categories. They may be included with one of the three primary services or delivered as a defined engagement where appropriate.
We develop and coordinate the design and technical information needed to turn the project’s intent into buildable elements. Depending on the scope, this may include design development, detailing, review of existing drawings, material decisions, engineering input from appropriate specialists, and clarification of production requirements. The objective is to settle important questions before fabrication and avoid leaving interfaces unresolved until installation.
We manage responsibilities, subcontractors, schedules, decisions, communication, progress, changes, and the steps that connect fabrication to installation. Project management is especially important for work in active or time-sensitive commercial settings, but the exact process is based on the contract and the information the client provides.
LKC hires specialist subcontractors rather than running an in-house factory. We manage approved information, material and finish decisions, production progress, and coordination with planned deliveries. This service connects the fabrication stage to the project’s broader requirements, whether the scope involves millwork, metal, or stone.
For engagements that include owner’s representation, LKC provides a specifically defined role in reviewing requirements, supporting decisions, tracking responsibilities, and reporting on matters that affect the owner’s objectives. When LKC also delivers project work, representation responsibilities must be made explicit in the agreement; the service should not be confused with independent third-party certification.
Installation connects design and fabrication with the finished environment. LKC organizes the contracted delivery and installation work, coordinating site access, field conditions, specialist installers, adjacent trades, adjustments, and final review as needed. Fabrication is not the finish line for a project expected to be installed.
A client may need only a custom millwork package for which drawings are already approved. Another project may require a mix of millwork and stone, or a metal package with additional design coordination. An owner may need clearly defined project management before the production plan can be finalized. We do not impose the same menu of services on every engagement.
First, we clarify the outcome, project stage, drawings and specifications, required approvals, material scope, site conditions, and desired installation timing. We then identify which of the main services applies, what supporting work is necessary, and which items fall outside the proposed contract. This distinction makes the service structure useful to a client planning a real project rather than reading a broad list of capabilities.
A well-defined scope is particularly important when multiple materials will meet in one space. Metal may be fabricated by a different specialist from the millwork. Stone may need verification after surrounding components or substrates are ready. Installation access may affect component dimensions and packaging. LKC’s role is to plan those relationships within the agreed work, not simply introduce one supplier after another.
From custom millwork to associated metal and stone packages, we can discuss the required design, production, and installation steps for your project.
